Start with one short clip and one clear goal. Review the result before spending credits on a longer video or more scenes.
1. Choose the right starting point
A scene described in words: use Text-to-Video.
A photo you want to animate: use Image-to-Video.
A portrait that should speak or sing: follow the Talking Photo guide.
An existing video with new speech: use Lip Sync.
For another goal, use Which Magic Hour tool should I use?
2. Prepare your input
Sign in to the selected tool. Upload the required media and wait for the upload to finish. For a prompt, describe the subject, one main action, and the setting. For example: “A ceramic coffee cup on a wooden table. Steam rises slowly. Soft morning light, fixed camera.”
If your video needs speech, prepare the recording first. You can create a voiceover or follow the guide to using your own audio. Audio options differ by tool and model.
3. Check settings and cost
Choose the available model, duration, resolution, and aspect ratio that fit your goal. Read the credit estimate before selecting Generate. Available settings depend on the tool and your plan; see tool limits and how credits work.
A plan allowance expressed as video hours is an estimate of total usage, not the maximum length of one clip. For a multi-scene story, plan a separate prompt for each clip.
4. Generate and review
Submit once, then check the project in History or My Library. If it is still processing, avoid creating the same job again. See what to do when generation takes longer.
When it completes, watch the whole clip. Check the subject, motion, audio, and framing. If you want a different result, change one relevant input or setting so you can tell what helped. Each new generation uses the displayed credits.
5. Download your result
Open the completed project and use its download control. Follow Find, download, and share your creations if you cannot locate the file.
If you used a no-signup free tool, download from the result area on that page before leaving. Free-tool allowances and signed-in account credits are separate; use the allowance displayed on that specific page.
If something goes wrong
Generate is disabled: check unfinished inputs and visible validation messages.
The generation failed or the result is blank: check status and credit details before retrying.
The video quality is disappointing: review source quality and selected settings.
For help with a specific project, send its link and a short description of what you expected and what happened. Keep the project available for review.
