Replace a face in a photo while using that photo as the scene.
Get the right result: check these first
Check the two image roles. Photo to edit is the original scene. Supply the new face as the replacement. If the inputs are reversed, swap them before generating.
Several people in the original. Use the individual-face workflow and wait for detection, then upload replacements for the detected originals. Check each mapping before submitting.
Need a head or body change. Use Head Swap or Body Swap for those larger changes. Face Swap Photo is the facial-identity workflow.

Step by step
Open Face Swap Photo and sign in for the Dashboard workflow.
Upload the target photo: this is the scene that should stay. Upload the replacement face as the source.
For a single swap, confirm the two images are in the correct positions. For Multi mode, wait for face detection and map replacement images to the detected faces you want to change.
Review the available face-handling settings and credit estimate, then generate.
Inspect the completed face and its edges and download the result you want.
Face, head, or whole person?
Use Face Swap Photo for facial identity. Use Head Swap when the whole head should change, or Body Swap when a different person should occupy the scene. These are separate workflows.
A face is missing or not detected
Try a clearer image with the face larger in the frame and less obstruction. A replacement image with several people is ambiguous. Check the original and replacement positions before retrying.
Free product page versus Dashboard
The separate free photo tool has its own allowance and result area. These instructions describe the signed-in Dashboard. Follow the estimate shown there; a free-tool allowance is not an account credit balance.
Cost, limits, and your result
These instructions cover the Dashboard. Sign in to generate and check the displayed credit estimate and access requirements. File limits and settings can depend on the tool, model, and plan. Follow the upload and validation messages shown for your selection.
Review the completed result before downloading. For signed-in projects, see find and download your creations.
If a job is still processing or failed
For a job still processing, check its status before submitting again. For a failed or technically broken output, see generation failures and credits.
