Get the right result: check these first
Only one person should change. Check Apply to before generating. Everyone uses the same replacement face; Specific faces lets you map replacements to detected people. Review the mappings rather than assuming the tool knows which person you meant.
Changing more than the face. Use Character Replace for a whole-character change. For Multi Face Swap in the signed-in editor, finish the video upload or YouTube import before mapping faces. Review the selected clip and the displayed estimate. Free product forms require a video upload.

Choose the route
Use Free Video Face Swap for the simplified no-credit experience. Its Multi mode supports replacement mappings for up to three faces. Use the signed-in, credit-based Face Swap Video editor to swap more.
Choose a good replacement face
The replacement image supplies the face that appears in the result. Compare these examples before generating:
Eyes open, facing camera
Use a photo where the person's eyes are open and looking at the camera.

Swap a face in Create
In the signed-in Create editor, upload a supported video or finish importing one through YouTube. Use only videos you own or have permission to use.
Upload a clear replacement image with one visible face.
Under Apply to, choose Everyone for one replacement face or Specific faces for individual-face mappings (Multi Face Swap).
For Multi, wait for video import and face detection, then map an image to each face you want to change. If a supported YouTube import fails, check the error or upload your original local file.
Review the displayed estimate and generate.
Use Face Swap and Lip Sync on the same video
For a completed Face Swap video in the signed-in editor, select the result you want and use its Lip Sync action when available. This opens Lip Sync with that selected result as the video input; confirm the loaded preview and add or select the audio before submitting. Review the selected segment and credit estimate: Lip Sync is a separate generation, not automatic audio on the Face Swap job. If the handoff is unavailable, download the completed result and upload it in the Lip Sync editor.
Run Face Swap first when the identity should change, then Lip Sync when the resulting face should follow new audio.
Support scope
Support can review a failed or technically broken project, but do not promise that support will manually create or edit a generation for the customer. Send the project link and diagnostic details for review.
