Get the right result: check these first
Upload the footage to colorize. Choose the color strength and resolution in Settings. Use Photo Colorizer for a still image.
Clip-length error. Trim the selected section to the range displayed by this tool. The length of the uploaded file is not the same as an eligible generation length.
Check color across the clip. Compare faces, objects, and scene changes with the original. Inferred color does not establish the historical color of the scene.

Step by step
Open Video Colorizer and sign in.
Select Upload Video and confirm the clip selection if trimming is offered.
In Settings, choose the available color strength and resolution.
Review the estimate and select Generate Video.
Watch the complete result for consistent color across motion and cuts, then download.
Color is inferred
The result is a plausible colorization, not proof of the actual original colors. Label archival footage appropriately when sharing a colorized version.
Colors change between frames
Inspect scene cuts, faces, and moving objects. A less aggressive strength or a simpler source section may be easier to evaluate. Preserve the original so you can compare.
Different restoration tasks
Use AI Video Upscaler for increasing resolution, AI Video Editor for a described visual change, and Photo Colorizer for a still image. Colorization does not automatically repair every source-quality problem.
