Magic Hour has two different ways to try video tools: free tools on product and tool pages, and the full tools in Create. They have different limits and payment behavior.
Free product and tool pages
Selected pages under /products and /tools let you try a simplified version without using account credits.
Eligible free video tools allow up to three free generations per day.
Free video generation uses LTX 2.3.
The available inputs and settings are simplified compared with the full Create tool.
Free results may include a watermark and may not be saved to account history unless you sign in.
If the free page says you have reached the daily limit, wait until the next daily reset or use the full tool in Create with credits.
Full Create tools
Pages under /create are the full signed-in tools.
Generations use credits.
The creation screen shows the current credit estimate before you generate.
Available models, duration, resolution, and controls depend on the selected tool and plan.
A free product-page generation does not make the matching Create tool free.
For Create tools, always treat the displayed credit estimate as the source of truth.
New-account and daily account credits
New accounts receive 400 signup credits.
Free users can claim 100 account credits once per calendar day, up to seven total claims.
Active subscribers can claim 100 account credits daily while subscribed without a lifetime claim limit.
Signup and daily account credits are separate from the three daily generations offered by eligible free product tools.
Character Replace
The full Create version of Character Replace uses credits and shows an estimate before generation.
A no-credit Character Replace preview is planned for /products/character-replace. Until the preview is visible on that page, use the Create version and follow its displayed credit estimate.
Common questions
Why does the Create page ask for credits after I used a free tool?
The product-page version and Create version are separate experiences. The full Create tool uses credits.
Can I choose LTX 2.3 in Create for a no-credit generation?
No. The no-credit LTX 2.3 experience belongs to eligible free product tools. A Create generation uses the estimate shown in Create.
Does signing up add credits?
Yes. New accounts receive 400 signup credits.
