API pricing is separate from web subscription credits
Use /api to open the current API overview and cost calculator. Web subscription offers and API usage pricing are different billing contexts. Do not assume a web plan price is the API estimate.
Use the API Calculator
Open /api.
Scroll to Estimate Your API Costs.
Choose a tool under Image Tools, Video Tools, or Audio Tools.
Select Starter, Creator, Pro, or Business in the calculator.
Enter the displayed quantity, such as seconds of video, seconds of audio, characters, or images.
Review Estimated monthly cost.
The calculator selection labels refer to API pricing choices. They do not by themselves confirm the subscription currently active in My Plan.
Why estimates differ
The estimate depends on the selected tool, calculator tier, quantity, and the current pricing applied by the calculator. Some tools are not offered under every calculator tier.
Use the estimate currently displayed at magichour.ai/api. Do not rely on a copied static price or an older screenshot.
Calculator estimate versus account quote
The calculator is an estimate, not an account-specific invoice or negotiated quote. Usage-based setup, eligibility, invoices, and account-specific pricing require review by the Magic Hour team.
If an estimate looks wrong
Send support the selected tool, calculator tier, quantity, date and time, screenshot, and account email. Do not send an API key.
