Get the right result: check these first
Use a coherent set of references. The tool recommends 8–12 photos with one cohesive style and advises against mixed styles or inconsistent quality. That is input guidance, not a minimum-photo requirement.
Save, then create with it. A saved Moodboard is a reference. Choose its image or video creation action and check that it is attached in the destination tool.
Need a person or a brand. Use Characters for a recurring person and Brand Kits for logo, color, and brand imagery.

Step by step
Open Moodboards and sign in. Select Create Moodboard.
Upload your inspiration images. The creation flow recommends a cohesive set; choose images that express the same visual direction.
Name and create the Moodboard using the creation controls. Wait for it to appear in your saved library.
Open the saved Moodboard and choose an available image or video usage option. You can also explore the preset styles shown on the Moodboards page.
In the destination tool, confirm the reference is attached, describe your scene, review any access requirement and estimate, then generate.
Moodboards versus Characters and Brand Kits
Use Moodboards for visual style, Characters for a recurring person, and Brand Kits for reusable brand assets and styling. They guide compatible generations but do not guarantee exact replication.
The style is inconsistent
Avoid mixing references with opposing lighting, color, or art direction. Keep the destination prompt compatible with the Moodboard and verify that the intended reference remains attached after model changes.
Saving and generating are different steps
A saved Moodboard is a reusable reference, not a finished image or video. Creating with it happens in the destination tool and follows that tool’s credit and plan requirements.
