Create a talking avatar video from an avatar image, optional background, and script or audio.
Get the right result: check these first
Complete the chosen speech path. Add Avatar, then either enter Script and choose Voice, or select Add Audio and supply the recording. Background is optional.
Mode and length must fit. Check the mode’s displayed limit. The current Expressive option allows up to 45 seconds; a longer script does not override that limit.
Need a different workflow. Use Talking Photo for a portrait-and-audio workflow or AI UGC Ad Generator when you need actor and product inputs together.
Still stuck? Contact support with the tool name, project link or visible ID if available, avatar, optional background, script/voice or audio selection, mode, and the step or timestamp that fails. Keep the project while it is reviewed. How to send useful troubleshooting details.
Step by step
Open AI Avatar Generator and sign in. Use Add Avatar to upload a portrait or select an available Character.
Choose an optional Background; keep Original if you want to start from the original setting.
Under Script, enter the words and choose a Voice, or use Add Audio to supply a recording.
Choose the generation mode and available settings. Check the duration notice; shorten the script or trim the audio if it exceeds the selected mode.
Review the estimate and select Generate Video. Review the face, background, speech, and timing in the completed result before downloading.
Do I need a separate first-frame step?
The current Generate Video workflow prepares the required speech and opening image as needed. Follow any selection or validation prompt shown in the editor; do not look for an older mandatory multi-step wizard.
Avatar versus Talking Photo
Use Avatar Generator when you want the avatar, background, and script controls together. Use Talking Photo for a portrait you want to animate with audio. Use AI UGC Ad Generator for the actor-and-product ad workflow.
Duration and identity
Mode limits differ. A longer script does not automatically create a longer allowed clip. Shorten or split it when required. A reference guides identity, but exact appearance and lip sync still need review.
