Get the right result: check these first
Describe a sequence of still frames. Put the story, characters, and visual style in Prompt. Use Image-to-Video or Text-to-Video for the later animated-video step.
Frame count or aspect ratio is disabled. Those controls are disabled for the current Nano Banana 2 storyboard mode. Select an available model that exposes them if you need to change those settings; check its access and cost.
Review each frame. Check the order, repeated characters, and visual details across the full storyboard before using it as a production plan.

Step by step
Open AI Storyboard Generator and sign in.
Write the story in Prompt. Describe scenes in order and identify recurring characters consistently.
Choose the Model, Storyboard frames or Number of Images, and Aspect Ratio.
Add reference images when offered if they help establish character appearance or style.
Review the total estimate and select Generate Storyboard. Check the sequence and download the completed images.

“Four frames: a traveler reaches a station; checks the departure board; runs toward the train; boards just before the doors close. Same traveler and red backpack in every frame, cinematic illustration.”
Frames are planning images
A storyboard is not a finished animated video. Use selected frames with Image-to-Video, or use the scene descriptions in Text-to-Video for individual clips.
The character or sequence changed
Make scene order explicit and repeat the important identity details. Compatible references can guide consistency, but do not guarantee identical faces or perfect narrative continuity. Review every frame rather than only the first.
