Overview
You can cancel your Magic Hour subscription at any time. After cancellation, you'll retain access to your subscription until your billing period ends, after which you'll lose access to paid features, but you can keep using the free Free plan and any remaining credits until they expire.

Before you begin
After cancellation, your subscription will end at the end of your current billing cycle. After your subscription ends:
You'll lose access to paid features (higher resolution, no watermark, commercial use, priority support)
You will not receive additional credits beyond the 100 free daily credits
You can resubscribe anytime
If you're unhappy with your current plan, consider downgrading instead of canceling.
What happens to your credits when you cancel?
During the final billing cycle: You can use all remaining credits until your subscription ends with full access to your subscription's features.
After cancellation: You'll be downgraded to the Free plan, which is lower resolution and includes watermarks.
Cancel your subscription
Sign in to your Magic Hour account.
Click the settings button (three dots)
Click Cancel Subscription
Magic Hour may ask for feedback on why you're canceling (optional).
Review the cancellation details and confirm you understand what will happen.
Click Confirm Cancel or Cancel Subscription.
Expected result: Your subscription cancellation is processed. You'll see a confirmation message on screen and receive a confirmation email. Your subscription will end at the end of your current billing cycle.
Cancellation confirmed! You can continue using Magic Hour anytime. Resubscribe anytime if you change your mind.
Timing of cancellation
Immediate: Your cancellation request is processed right away when you confirm.
Final billing cycle: You have until the end of your current billing month to use your paid plan's credits and features.
Plan downgrade: After your final billing date, you're automatically downgraded to the Free plan.
No additional charges: You won't be charged after your current billing cycle ends.
Verify cancellation
Confirm your subscription was successfully canceled:
Check your email for a cancellation confirmation message from Magic Hour.
Go to My Plan and verify it does not have a Renewal Date.
Your remaining credits should be visible and are always usable.
Check that future charges don't appear on your bank statement after your final billing date.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes. You can cancel at any time, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You won't be charged for the next month.
Will I get a refund if I cancel mid-cycle?

What happens to my account after cancellation?
Your account stays active. You can still log in and use the Free plan. You can resubscribe anytime to unlock paid features again.
Can I cancel and resubscribe later?
Yes, absolutely. You can cancel anytime and resubscribe whenever you want.
What if I want to downgrade instead of canceling?
Downgrading keeps your account active but reduces your monthly credit allowance and features. To downgrade your plan, choose the plan you'd like to downgrade to at https://magichour.ai/pricing.
Will my generated assets be deleted if I cancel?
No. All videos and images you've created remain in your account and are yours to download and use. You own all generated assets regardless of your subscription status.
Can I pause my subscription instead of canceling?
Magic Hour doesn't currently offer a pause feature. Your options are to downgrade to the Basic plan or cancel. Contact [email protected] if you have a specific situation that needs a custom solution.
